Barker slain in Quezon City

MANILA, Philippines - A 38-year-old barker was shot dead by still unidentified assailants at Barangay Tandang Sora in Quezon City before dawn yesterday.

Christopher Reyes was repeatedly shot in the face, Police Officer 2 George Caculba said.

Witness Isang Haylil said she and her partner were in their shanty when they heard gunshots outside. They called for barangay officials when they saw the victim.

Police recovered four cartridge cases and a deformed bullet from the crime scene.
