LTFRB chief faces graft charges

MANILA, Philippines - Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) Chairman Winston Ginez was charged with graft yesterday for allowing online-based transport groups such as Uber to operate and overcharge commuters.

The complaint, which included LTFRB board member Ronaldo Corpus, was filed by Alliance of Concerned Transport Organizations national president Efren de Luna before the Office of the Ombudsman.
