MANILA, Philippines - A 61-year-old fish vendor from Navotas has claimed the jackpot of the 6/55 Grand Lotto’s Sept. 14 draw, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced yesterday.
The vendor, who is married and has four children, said he got the winning combination, 04-16-27-28-29-30, from a dream his daughter had 15 years ago, according to PCSO general manager Jose Ferdinand Rojas II.
The winner plans to invest money in his business, save for his children’s future and share part of his winnings with his siblings.
The 6/55 Grand Lotto is drawn every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
Meanwhile, the jackpot of 6/58 Ultra Lotto remains elusive and expected to hit the P 210-million mark for today’s draw.
The last time someone won the jackpot in Ultra Lotto was in March, when a government employee won the minimum jackpot of P50 million.
The 6/58 Ultra Lotto is drawn every Friday and Sunday.
