Man found dead in Manila

MANILA, Philippines - A man was found dead in Sampaloc, Manila yesterday afternoon.

Senior Police Officer 2 Jonathan Bautista described the man to be between 20 and 25 years old, 5’2’’ tall and clad in a t-shirt and black short pants.

Bautista said the man was discovered sprawled at the corner of Ma. Cristina street and España Boulevard at around 2 p.m.

Prior to this, Barangay 470 councilman Danilo Soriano told police that the man bought a can of soda at his store but he told him not to pay for it because he looked sick.

Police investigators have yet to determine the cause of his death.

Police said the body was brought to a funeral parlor in Sampaloc.
