Robertzon Ramirez - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - A warehouse in Barangay Doña Imelda, Quezon City was razed by fire before dawn yesterday.

The blaze started in the rear of Puregold Jr.’s 300-square meter warehouse, where boxes of soft drinks were stacked, city fire marshal Jesus Fernandez said.

Arson investigators said the fire destroyed around P1 million worth of property before it was put out at around 1 a.m. yesterday, according to Fernandez.

They have yet to determine what caused the fire, he added.

Police Officer 2 Cirilo Valencia Jr. of the Galas police station said firefighters on more than 30 fire trucks responded.
