4 nabbed for drugs in Taguig, Las Piñas

MANILA, Philippines - Four persons were arrested in anti-illegal drug operations in Taguig and Las Piñas over the weekend, the Southern Police District (SPD) said yesterday.

Rommel Rabara, 49, was caught carrying two sachets of shabu with a street value of P1,000 in a brown case. At the time of his arrest, he was detained at the Bureau of Immigration jail for overstaying and was supposed to the deported to the United States.

Meanwhile, construction worker Rene Tanudra, 37; Arnel Antiquera, 22, also a construction worker; and Sotero Focbit, 42, an aluminum installer were arrested in Barangay Manuyo Uno in Las Piñas for carrying a sachet and aluminum foil strips, all with traces of shabu, and two disposable lighters.

Police are preparing to file charges against the four suspects.
