Ramil Bajo, Rey Galupo - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Four persons were arrested when police raided a drug den in Valenzuela City Tuesday afternoon.

Nabbed were Alimba Ulama, 30; Jerry Duarte, 34; Lorisel de la Peña, 33, and Isagani Villarin, 22.

City police chief Senior Superintendent Rhoderick Armamento said Ulama was a known drug peddler in Quiapo, Manila before he transferred his operation to Barangay Marulas, Valenzuela.

Chief Inspector Allan Ruba, anti-illegal drugs task force chief, and his team swooped down on BAJ Compound at around 1 p.m. after a poseur-buyer was able to buy a sachet of shabu from Ulama.

Ruba said they caught the suspects having a pot session.

Police recovered four sachets of shabu from the suspects who were detained at the Valenzuela police station.

Drug charges will be filed against them before the city prosecutor’s office.
