FEO has new OIC
MANILA, Philippines - Senior Superintendent Dennis Siervo is the new officer-in-charge (OIC) of the Firearms and Explosives Office (FEO) of the Philippine National Police (PNP).
Siervo replaced Chief Superintendent Moro Virgilio Lazo, who was earlier named as head of the Special Action Force, the PNP’s elite fighting unit.
A member of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Class ’85, Siervo assumed command of the FEO yesterday during simple turnover ceremony presided by Director Melito Mabilin, the head of the PNP’s Civil Security Group.
PNP officer-in-charge Deputy Director General Leonardo Espina approved the appointment of Siervo and three other officials as OICs: Chief Superintendent Boy Aligayu for the Finance Service Office; Senior Superintendent Gilbert Sosa for the Directorate for Information and Communication Technology Management and Senior Superintendent Arnold Gunnacao for the Anti-Cybercrime Group.
Aligayu and Sosa belong to PMA Class ’84 while Gunnacao is a classmate of Siervo.
