Woman fished out of Manila Bay

MANILA, Philippines - The search for a 49-year-old woman who went missing last week ended after her decomposing body was fished out of Manila Bay Tuesday afternoon.

Police said Delia Abainza was identified by her partner, Rolando Albesa, at a funeral parlor after two fishermen found her floating in waters off Navotas.

Albesa reported to Police Officer 3 Ronnie Garan that the victim left their house in Barangay North Bay Boulevard South early Sunday morning.

Investigators have yet to rule out foul play in Abainza’s death.
