MANILA, Philippines - A teenager was crushed to death while his friend was seriously injured when a Philippine National Railways (PNR) train ran them over in Paco, Manila yesterday.
Boboy Balan died on the rail tracks along Quirino Avenue. His 13-year-old friend was rushed to the Philippine General Hospital for treatment.
Police said the victims had just finished eating lunch and were hanging out around the railway when the train struck them at 2 p.m.
