Man hurt in Taguig fire

MANILA, Philippines - A man was injured in a fire that destroyed two houses in Taguig City yesterday morning.

Taguig Senior Fire Officer 3 Reynaldo Valler said Franz Aurel Orno, 28, was being treated for burns he suffered from the blaze that occurred along General Santos Avenue in Barangay Lower Bicutan.

Valler said the fire reached first alarm at around 4 a.m. and was placed under control at about 4:33 a.m.

Damage was placed at P200,000. Arson investigators have yet to determine the cause of the blaze.
