MANILA, Philippines - A Bangladeshi was shot dead by unidentified assailants as he was driving along Kamias street in Quezon City yesterday afternoon.

Anisur Rahman, 48, was driving a Toyota Fortuner (ZJE-832) when two men on a motorcycle shot him in the head, according to Superintendent Richard Fiesta, Quezon City Police District Station 9 commander.

Rahman was reported to have been residing on Mapagbigay street in Barangay Pinyahan.

Investigators said Rahman was hit in the left temple and the back of his head.

The assailants, who wore helmets, fled toward EDSA, Fiesta said. A number of identification cards and an undetermined amount of money in Rahman’s car were untouched.
