MANILA, Philippines - A man was arrested for allegedly robbing an 18-year-old student in Barangay Sacred Heart, Quezon City Sunday.
Gilbert Pazcoguin was arrested in September last year for taking a ninth grader’s cell phone at gunpoint, according to police records.
Pazcoguin was seen on surveillance footage robbing Jethro Delima, 18, at around 2:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Pazcoguin and an unidentified companion were riding a motorcycle when they approached Delima, who was walking along Scout Fernandez street, and took his cell phone, worth P17,500, at gunpoint, said city police chief Senior Superintendent Joel Pagdilao.
Delima reported the robbery at the Kamuning police station, whose police officers arrested Pazcoguin at his home in Antipolo City.
