Free MRT, LRT rides today

MANILA, Philippines -  Passengers of the Light Rail Transit (LRT) Lines 1 and 2 and the Metro Rail Transit (MRT-3) will get free rides today to mark Rizal Day. 

The free rides will be from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., according to the announcement posted on the Twitter account of the government’s Official Gazette. 

LRT Line 1 connects Roosevelt to Baclaran, while Line 2 runs from Recto to Santolan. The MRT-3 traverses EDSA, from North to Taft Avenues.
