3 fall in San Juan drug raid
MANILA, Philippines - A former police trainee and two others were caught using methamphetamine hydrochloride, locally known as shabu, in San Juan City over the weekend.
Marco Lico, 26, a former police trainee and a resident of Bakawan street in San Antonio Village, Makati City; Jonathan Aychocho, 42, and Jasper Singco, 51, were arrested during a raid on a house in Barangay Onse at around 11 p.m. Saturday, city police chief Senior Superintendent Ariel Arcinas said.
The three men yielded two sachets said to contain shabu and drug paraphernalia, he said.
The suspects, who are being held at the San Juan police detention center, remain silent on the charges against them.
