QC gov’t inaugurates new justice hall
MANILA, Philippines - The Quezon City government yesterday inaugurated a new building to house the prosecution services inside the city hall compound.
The six-story Fiscal Cecilia Muñoz Palma Hall will house the offices of parole and probation, public attorneys and the Integrated Bar of the Philippines-QC chapter.
Mayor Herbert Bautista said the new justice hall, which started construction in February 2012, will provide a more spacious area for city prosecutors to ensure the speedy disposition of cases.
The building has a floor area of 5,829.97 square meters.
Bautista also ordered the repair of the old justice hall.
Earlier, the city government launched a P2-million document tracking system designed to expedite the docketing and tracking of cases filed before the Quezon City Regional Trial Court.
