Pinoy workers in Afghanistan can vote in 2016

MANILA, Philippines – Filipino workers in Afghanistan can vote in the May 2016 elections.

Officials of the Philippine embassy in Afghanistan, led by Ambassador Domingo Lucenario Jr., will meet with a group of Filipino workers in Afghanistan on Nov. 5 to encourage them to register for the absentee voting.

Lucenario will meet with the Samahang Pinoy in Afghanistan, an association of Filipino expatriates working in Kabul for international organizations like the United Nations, United States Agency for International Development, World Bank, International Monetary Fund and other ministries of the Afghan government.
