MANILA, Philippines -  Four persons were arrested and four kilos of shabu – with an estimated street value of P20 million – in a drug sting in Taguig City yesterday.

Larex Pepino, 35; Jaybern Ruiras, 33; Jhay-Ar Radin, 25, and Nelson Conarco, 20, did not resist arrest when they were cornered by lawmen inside a Nissan Almera, where they transacted with an undercover agent.

The sting was set up by police officers under Task Force Tugis, the Intelligence Group’s Counter-Intelligence Division and the Anti-Illegal Drug Special Operations Task Force (AIDSOTF).

Task force chief Senior Superintendent Ronald Lee said they were led to the four alleged drug pushers by Shiela Adam Somar, 30, who was arrested in Manila on Oct. 15 for carrying three kilos of shabu with a street value of P18 million.

The four suspects are being held at the AIDSOTF headquarters in Camp Crame pending the filing of charges against them.
