Man gunned down in Navotas

MANILA, Philippines - A man was shot dead by two unidentified assailants in Navotas City Saturday night.

Zaldy Marquez, of Goromi street, North Bay Boulevard South, was waking along Road 10 at Sitio Puting Bato when the assailants on a motorcycle stopped beside him and peppered him with bullets.

Marquez died at the scene, police said.

The victim’s partner told police that he left their house on Oct. 10 and had not returned since.

She said Marquez had no known enemies.
