MANILA, Philippines - A bomb threat at Miriam College, warning of “bloodshed” along Katipunan Avenue, prompted school officials to suspend classes yesterday.
Police officers did not find any bombs after two hours of searching the campus, said Inspector Noel Sublay, head of the Explosives and Ordnance Division of the Quezon City Police District.
According to Sublay, the threat came through a text message received by the president of the student council a few minutes past noon.
