2 brods kill helper in Caloocan
MANILA, Philippines - A helper quarreling with his partner was allegedly killed by two brothers Sunday night in Caloocan City.
John Rey Teves, 22, and his brother Ryan, both of Tupada, Salaysalay street, fled after allegedly stabbing Julie Roque dead at around 11:30 p.m.
Police said Roque was quarreling with Imelda Pasague when Ryan, who is a son-in-law of the woman, tried to pacify them.
Ryan’s action irked Roque, who left only to return later allegedly armed with a knife.
John Rey was about to confront Roque upon learning that he was looking for his brother, when Ryan arrived and hit the victim with a piece of wood.
The Teves brothers reportedly took turns in hitting and stabbing Roque.
