Non Alquitran - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Two bomb threats prompted the officials of St. Scholastica’s Academy in Marikina City to send their students home Tuesday.

Grade school principal Sister Alexis Lamarroza sought police assistance after two of their employees received separate bomb threats.

Lamarroza told police that Maria Rebecca Muyrong, 47, of the school registrar’s office, received a telephone call just before 3 p.m. from a man who said there was a bomb in the school.

Another employee, Evengeline Salopango, 37, received the second bomb threat a few minutes later.

Members of the Marikina police’s Special Reaction Unit searched the school but found no bomb.
