Mike Frialde - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - The Magallanes Interchange was reopened to all types of vehicles last night, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said.

MMDA Traffic Engineering Center chief Neomie Recio said the southbound lane of the interchange is now accessible to all types of vehicles, including trucks and buses.

The southbound portion of the interchange from Osmeña Highway to South Luzon Expressway was closed to traffic for a 10-day repair on  Aug. 8. It reopened to light vehicles on Monday.

The Department of Public Works and Highways said the P167-million project involved the rehabilitation of the flyover.
