Marikina gov’t employee gunned down

MANILA, Philippines - An employee of the Marikina City government was shot dead yesterday.

Enrico Pascual, of the city traffic management office, was riding his bicycle to work when he was attacked by an unidentified assailant along 3rd street in Barangay Sto. Niño at around 6 a.m.

He died on the scene from a gunshot wound in the head. Witnesses said the assailant walked away after making sure Pascual was dead.
