14 cops axed over dirty precinct

MANILA, Philippines - A police precinct chief in Manila and 13 of his men were sacked over a dirty office and bathroom.
Manila Police District (MPD) Chief Superintendent Rolando Asuncion removed Senior Inspector Manny Israel from the Don Bosco precinct in Tondo yesterday.
Israel and his men, who were also reprimanded for the improper wearing of their uniform, were transferred to the MPD’s holding unit.
Israel was replaced by Chief Inspector Ariel Caramoan.
