Woman leaves jar of fetuses in jeepney

MANILA, Philippines - An unidentified woman left a jar containing several fetuses in a passenger jeepney in Navotas City Wednesday.

Four students in the jeepney noticed the woman, who was about 25 to 30 years old and 4’9” tall, leave a plastic bag when she alighted along C-3 Road shortly before 6 p.m. Edwin Abella, one of the students, told police they tried to call the woman’s attention but she hurriedly walked away. 

“When we opened the plastic bag we noticed that there were at least four to five fetuses crammed in a jar,” Abella said.

The students went to the police to report the incident and turn over the jar of fetuses.
