Man jumps off MRT station

MANILA, Philippines - A 27-year-old man was injured after he jumped off the Metro Rail Transit (MRT) 3 station’s platform in Magallanes, Makati yesterday morning.

Joseph Christian, of San Pedro, Laguna, was rushed to the Makati Medical Center, said city police chief Senior Superintendent Manuel Lukban.

Initial reports said that Christian jumped off the MRT platform while a north-bound train was approaching the terminal at 10:17 a.m.

Luckily, the train did not hit him but he suffered an injured leg from the fall.
