Fire destroys Banawe buildings

MANILA, Philippines - At least two buildings along Banawe street in Quezon City were destroyed in a fire yesterday morning.
Senior Fire Officer 3 Mauricio Jose said no one was killed or hurt in the blaze, which started just before 8 a.m.
The fire supposedly started at an establishment on 87 Banawe street in Barangay Sto. Domingo.
Jose said fire investigators have yet to determine what caused the blaze, which destroyed P1.5 million worth of property.
