MANILA, Philippines - Three armed men robbed employees and customers of an aesthetic clinic of more than P21,000 in valuables and a motorcycle in Quezon City Friday afternoon.
Superintendent Limuel Obon, Quezon City Police District Station 10 commander, said the robbers barged into the Second Skin Face and Body Clinic in Barangay Roxas District at around 2 p.m.
Obon said the robbers initially pretended to check the clinic’s services. Two employees and a customer – all female – were at the clinic when the incident happened.
The police officer said the robbers, believed to be between 30 to 35 years old, herded the three victims into the backroom and took their belongings worth P21,000.
An hour later, cable television field technician Bart Arrieta and a house helper entered the clinic to do some maintenance work. The two, however, were met by the robbers, who also tied them up and took the technician’s motorcycle keys.
Obon said the robbers, who have yet to be identified, fled the clinic using Arrieta’s motorcycle.
