Motorcyclist falls off Buendia flyover

MANILA, Philippines - A 27-year-old motorcyclist was hurt after he fell off the Gil Puyat (Buendia)-Kalayaan Avenue flyover in Makati City yesterday morning.

Emergency rescuers from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) rushed Clark Macasadia, a resident of Sampaloc, Manila to the Ospital ng Makati for emergency treatment.

According to the MMDA, Macasadia fell 20 feet from the flyover at about 8:30 a.m.

Investigators said Macasadia was cruising the flyover from Kalayaan Avenue to Gil Puyat Avenue on his Honda motorcycle (8315-NP) when his motorcycle hit the gutter. He lost control and hit the flyover’s railings.

Masacadia was thrown from his motorcycle, which was left on the flyover.
