MANILA, Philippines - A suspected tricycle thief was arrested in Caloocan City yesterday afternoon.
Elmer Constantino, 26, and a companion reportedly stole Alexander Meneses’ tricycle at gunpoint Thursday.
According to a report, Meneses was plying his tricycle at around 1 p.m. Thursday when Constantino and another man, who were on a motorcycle, threatened to harm him if he did not give them the key to his vehicle.
The suspects fled with the tricycle while Meneses went to the police to report the incident.
Constantino was apprehended in a follow-up operation and pointed to the place where they hid the tricycle, police said.
