Ramil Bajo, Rey Galupo - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Two unidentified persons lobbed a grenade at a police community precinct (PCP) in Barangay North Bay Boulevard South Saturday afternoon.

The fragmentation grenade failed to explode and investigators have yet to determine the motive for the attack on PCP 5, located at the corner of Lapu-Lapu and Bangus streets, Navotas police chief Senior Superintendent Conrado Gongon Jr. said.

Resident Rommel Borres, 42, said the two attackers wore helmets and their motorcycle had no license plate.

Last Thursday, three people were wounded and a patrol car of the Malabon police was damaged when a group of persons lobbed a grenade at the precinct in Smokey Mountain in Tondo, Manila.
