MANILA, Philippines - Two suspected pushers were arrested in a drug sting at a church in Pasay City last March 20, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) announced yesterday.
Property consultant Luijie Ignacio, 30, and vendor Charlton Laca, 42, were apprehended in front of the Immanuel Church along Diosdado Macapagal Boulevard at around 4:30 a.m. by agents under Special Enforcement Service director Laurefel Gabales, PDEA chief Arturo Cacdac said.
Ten grams of shabu, a Mitsubishi Lancer (PXO-717), an Astra .22 caliber revolver with six bullets, an Armscor .45 caliber pistol with seven bullets, a cell phone and P500 marked money were confiscated from the suspects.
Cacdac said drug charges will be filed in court against Ignacio and Laca, who remain under PDEA custody.
