Fire destroys 20 hours in Better Living

MANILA, Philippines - A two-hour fire destroyed at least 20 houses in a compound along Soledad street extension in Better Living Subdivision, Parañaque City at noon yesterday.

At least 50 families were left homeless by the fire, which destroyed P200,000 worth of property by the time it was put out two hours later, Fire Officer 3 Roberto Bautista said.

Arson investigators have yet to determine what caused the fire.
