Cop tagged in killing of ex-girlfriend’s lover

MANILA, Philippines - A police officer from Angono, Rizal is the subject of a manhunt for allegedly killing the lover of his ex-girlfriend in Sampaloc, Manila Wednesday night.

Inspector Bricks Reamillo is wanted for shooting Rizalino Ragel, 33, in the chest. Ragel died at Mary Chiles Hospital at about 1 p.m. yesterday.

Reamillo reportedly broke into the house of Loreta Onecer at about 10:45 p.m., the Manila Police District said.

The moment the door opened, Reamillo shot Ragel and dragged Onecer out of her house, trying to make her reconcile with him.

Onecer broke free from Reamillo, ran back to Ragel and rushed him to the hospital.

According to the woman, the police captain had been sending her death threats before Wednesday’s shooting.
