Reinir Padua - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Armed men barged into a house in Quezon City yesterday morning and took cash and valuables worth around P2 million.

The robbers also hogtied members of the Ver family inside their house in Barangay Immaculate Concepcion, said Superintendent Limuel Obon, commander of the Quezon City Police District Station 10.

According to Obon, four to eight men were involved in the robbery at past 7 a.m. They used two motorcycles and a Toyota sedan bearing the plate number PBZ-658.

Obon said two of the robbers rushed in when a teenage member of the family opened the gate of the house to go to school. They were followed by two more robbers.

Once inside, the robbers hogtied 10 members of the household, including two helpers. They then ransacked the cabinets and took their loot.
