P5-M shabu seized in Pasay

MANILA, Philippines - Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) seized around P5 million worth of shabu in an entrapment operation in Pasay City on Tuesday.

PDEA director general Undersecretary Arturo Cacdac Jr. said the illegal stuff was confiscated from Reynel Espidion, 30.

Members of the PDEA Regional Office-National Capital Region led by Jacquelyn de Guzman arrested Espidion after he sold a transparent resealable plastic bag containing one kilogram of shabu to an undercover agent at the corner of FB Harrison and Ortigas street.

Charges of violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be slapped against the suspect, Cacdac said.
