CCP reroutes traffic for roadwork, festival
MANILA, Philippines - The entry to the Cultural Center of the Philippines complex via Pedro Bukaneg street will be closed to all vehicles effective Monday to give way to the road repair project by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), the CCP announced yesterday.
All motorists should take Vicente Sotto street to enter the CCP complex, the CCP’s public relations department advised.
The CCP also said that from 10 p.m. on March 15 to 8 p.m. the next day, both lanes of Pedro Bukaneg street, from Roxas Boulevard to Magdalena Jalandoni street, shall be closed to traffic for the Pasinaya: CCP Open House Festival.
The CCP said motorists coming from Roxas Boulevard/Vito Cruz bound for the CCP complex shall take Vicente Sotto street to their destination within the CCP complex or Macapagal Boulevard. The westbound lane of Pedro Bukaneg street from Jalandoni up to Harbour Square shall be open only for deliveries or customers of Harbour Square or the ferry terminal.
Motorists bound for Manila may turn right on Gil Puyat Avenue from Macapagal Boulevard to their destination. Alternately, Manila-bound motorists may take Jalandoni street, turn right at Vicente Sotto, turn right on Roxas Boulevard and take the U-turn slot under the Gil Puyat Avenue flyover to their destination.
