Designer slain in robbery

MANILA, Philippines - Fashion designer Kenneth Chua, 38, was stabbed dead in his atelier in Barangay Palanan, Makati City shortly before noon yesterday.

Chua was found in the bathroom of his workshop on Dayap street. The victim had been hogtied and stabbed several times, city police chief Senior Superintendent Manuel Lukban said.

Chief Inspector Gaylord Tamayo said Chua’s wallet and cell phone were missing. Investigators are eyeing robbery as a possible motive.
