Woman jumps from Pasay footbridge

MANILA, Philippines - An unidentified woman jumped to her death from a footbridge along Domestic Road in Pasay City yesterday afternoon.

The woman, who was barefoot, climbed the footbridge at around 1 p.m., according to a police report. She paused for a moment upon reaching the middle before she jumped.

She died on the scene due to head injuries.

The incident caused a traffic buildup along the road and nearby areas, police said.
