Parking attendant slain in UP Diliman

MANILA, Philippines - A parking attendant was stabbed dead in the University of the Philippines campus in Diliman, Quezon City Thursday night.

Ramon Dy of Barangay Pansol was attacked at a vacant lot near the College of Law building at past 8 p.m., Police Officer 2 Roldan Cornejo said.

Esperanza Sevillo, the victim’s partner, told police she and the victim were together that night.

Sevillo said Dy went to relieve himself somewhere but when he came back to her he was wounded.

The victim told her a man repeatedly stabbed him for unknown reasons. With the help of bystanders, Sevillo rushed the victim to a hospital, where he died upon arrival.
