MANILA, Philippines - Investigators are preparing sketches of the men who killed a 47-year-old businessman in Parañaque City Wednesday night, an official said yesterday.
The sketches are based on the description provided by victim Justo Genie Lim’s partner, Midz Nepomuceno, who escaped unhurt from the incident, Parañaque police chief Senior Superintendent Ariel Andrade said.
He said Nepomuceno saw the faces of two of the six men who used their Kia van to block Lim’s Mercedes Benz as he was driving along MJS Avenue in Barangay Don Bosco.
The men got out of the van and ordered Lim to get out, but the victim sped away. According to reports, the men were trying to arrest him.
The men gave chase and shot at Lim, hitting him in the head and chest. Lim was declared dead on arrival at the Parañaque Doctors Hospital.
Andrade said the victim, a resident of Levitown Village, had a trucking business.
