Robbers strike in QC

MANILA, Philippines - Burglars broke into a house in Quezon City and took away valuables worth nearly P2 million on Tuesday.

Roelle Reyes, 34, and his wife lost expensive watches such as Rolex, ORIS, Tag Heuer, Fossil, Kenneth Cole, G Shock and Citizen, Jordan shoes, laptops, a DSLR camera, an iPad 2, bottles of perfume, a Philip Chariot bracelet, a mountain bike helmet and jewelry worth around P600,000 to the suspects, case investigator PO1 Julian Pudoso said.

Reyes and his wife left for Pangasinan on Monday to visit their family, police said.

They left behind Reyes’ brother-in-law Fernando and his partner, who reported for work that same day.

They discovered the burglary when they returned home at 4 p.m.
