P5-M property goes up in smoke

MANILA, Philippines - Around P5 million worth of property went up in smoke after a fire of unknown origin struck a tarpaulin factory in Pasay City early yesterday morning.

The fire broke out at 5:18 a.m. at the Limkaco Industries located along Ignacio street in Barangay 75, according to the city fire department.

The blaze reached the fourth alarm before it was put out by responding firefighters at 12:26 p.m.

No one was reported injured in the incident.

Arson investigators have yet to establish the cause of the fire.
