Woman, son found dead in car trunk

MANILA, Philippines - The bodies of a 54-year-old woman and her 18-year-old son were found in the trunk of their car, which was parked at their house in Multinational Village in Parañaque City yesterday.

Fe Rafael and her son, Danilo Jr., were found stuffed in the trunk of their Ford Fiesta (TQU-896) by her brother, Daniel Castro, at around 2 a.m., city police chief Senior Superintendent Ariel Andrade said.

He said the victims appeared to have been bludgeoned to death.

“Initial investigation  showed that victims sustained fatal head injuries,” Andrade told The STAR.

The prime suspect is Fe’s husband, Danilo Sr., who is missing and cannot be contacted, he said, adding that the attack appeared to be a crime of passion.
