Teen nabbed for raping girl, 6

MANILA, Philippines - An 18-year-old construction worker was arrested after allegedly raping a six-year-old girl in Navotas City on Friday.

Mark Cunor Afin was arrested following the complaint of the victim’s father, Navotas police chief Senior Superintendent Conrado Gongon said in a report to the Northern Police District.

Gongon said the alleged rape happened Friday morning. The girl was referred to the Philippine General Hospital for medical examination, he said.
