QC residents can pay tax through Globe GCASH

MANILA, Philippines - Residents of Quezon City can now pay their real property tax through Globe’s GCASH mobile money service.

Quezon City taxpayers may register with the service by dialing *143# for free, selecting GCASH, registering and providing the necessary information.

They can pay taxes by dialing *143#, selecting Quezon City from the list of cities, choosing real property tax, providing and confirming the tax declaration number, and choosing whether to pay the current quarter or yearend balance.

“We are happy to give Quezon City taxpayers the opportunity to pay their real property tax using their mobile phones. By using Globe GCASH, taxpayers will surely be able to save time and enjoy fast and secure transactions without the need to fall in line or to travel all the way to Quezon City hall with their payments on hand,” said Paolo Baltao, president of G-Xchange, Inc., the firm that handles the service.
