MANILA, Philippines - Three men were arrested for allegedly threatening to harm a parish priest in the Saint Joseph Church in Caloocan City before dawn yesterday.
According to a police report, Junior Gonzales, 21, reeked of liquor when he entered the church at around 2 a.m. Edgar Guatero, the parish priest, saw Gonzales and politely asked him to step out.
Gonzales left, but came back minutes later with Martin Osaya, 21, and Ryan del Mundo, 23, in tow. The three reportedly cursed at the priest and threatening him with bodily harm.
Guatero sought the assistance of police officers, who arrested the three men and charged them with trespassing and grave threats.
