Parañaque warehouse blaze under control

MANILA, Philippines - A fire that destroyed a warehouse and two adjacent buildings in Barangay Sto. Niño, Parañaque City yesterday was placed under control after nearly 17 hours.

The blaze started at the Maldive Trading Corp. warehouse at past 1 a.m. The fire alarm level was raised to Task Force Bravo after the flames spread to Ceva Logistics and KLG buildings.

Firefighters have managed to place the fire under control at around 3:46 p.m.

No one was reported hurt or killed in the fire, the Parañaque fire department said.

Arson investigators are still trying to determine what caused the fire.
