Cop charged for hitting neighbors

MANILA, Philippines - A police officer assigned in Camp Crame faces charges for allegedly threatening and hitting his neighbors in Tondo, Manila.

The Manila Police District general assignment section identified the suspect as Police Officer 2 Jeoffrey Masangkay, also known as “Boy Sampal.”

Lilian Villanueva, 29, and Joseph Cecila claimed Masangkay slapped and punched them when they asked his wife to remove a bird cage he placed near their dining area.
